Rudy G. 4 Prez

If the election were tomorrow, my vote would have to go to Rudy Giuliani. Defense and SCOTUS appointments are my top two reasons. Many of my fellow Christian conservatives say they cannot vote Rudy because of his position on abortion (pro choice). As a Christian I am anti-abortion but pro-choice. What? You heard me correctly. Let me explain my position. The God I worship, the Lord I worship, has the power to make me obey Him, make me worship Him, make me love Him... yet he does not. He allowed me to come to Him by CHOICE. I believe the same principle applies here. Just as God has shown me where I break his commandments and in turn His heart, we as Christians have an obligation to share the Gospel with those considering abortion so that they understand what it is they are about to do. I will extend them that understanding if they agree to no more word games, no more dehumanizing what is taking place. It is not some lump of matter, it is a person in the process of becoming. Have the courage of your convictions and stand up for what you believe. You believe it is the choice of the mother to allow the state sanctioned murder of a human being. End of story. It is their choice. They will have to answer the tough questions, not you or I.

And please, spare me the rape or incest scenario. In either one there are three people involved; one perpetrator, and two victims. So if I understand that position, of the three, the wise choice is to kill the most defenseless of the group. Help me with that one, will ya?

As far as the President and abortion, if anything could have been done, do you think a shift towards a more conservative position would have happened under Ronald Wilson Reagan yet it did not. This truly requires a hearts and mind kind of approach. It also requires the kind of committment to prayer I don't know if the Christian church in America can muster. Unfortunately we are looking more and more like the church at Laodicea.
